Collins Glass, a new cocktail bar located in the trendy Downtown Crossing district, will open on Tuesday, September 13, at 11 a.m. at 1116 Broadway in downtown Denver.
The glass house is a new take on the classic cocktail bar concept of having a glass of your favorite drink at the bar, then leaving and returning for another.
This new concept is a little different than what we’ve seen before, and it’s going to be a great addition to the Downtown Crossing.
“We want to offer our customers the chance to drink as much of our drinks as they want and enjoy them all, but in a really casual, easy-to-get-to environment,” Collins founder, John Bogle, said in a press release.
“We want you to come in and experience a unique experience, to be surrounded by friends, family and of course our drinks.
I’m looking forward to seeing you soon!”
The glass house will have more than 40 taps, including a mix of tequila, gin, brandy, rum, and tequila and teavana cocktails, Bogle said.
The menu will include both a cocktail and a meal option, as well as more casual drinks.
The restaurant will feature a full bar and a bar-style dining area, and a full kitchen with a stove and a fridge.
Collins Glass will be open for cocktails and meals for the first time on Tuesday.
They will also be offering a full menu of beer and wine, including their signature “Frozen” line.
The glasses will also offer a variety of snacks and desserts.
Bogle said they are hoping to have a full night of fun with the drinkers.
Collins is opening a new bar in Downtown Crossing, and they have been opening new bars throughout the Denver area.
While the glasshouse will be different from other cocktail bars, Bolets vision of having “a relaxed, casual atmosphere, with a little more fun and a little bit of fun” was well received.
