Few things are more enjoyable as a photographer than shooting a home win in front of a home crowd. The energy is so high, and the players feed off of that. When Baker Mayfield started waving his arms and shouting after Rashard Higgins’ game-winning touchdown, the crowd was deafening. It makes for great photos.
Mayfield orchestrated a 10-play Cleveland escorts, 82 yard drive to beat the now 6-3 Bills.
Higgins, who capped that drive with the game-winning touchdown catch, told Odell Beckham Jr. earlier in the day that he had a dream that he scored a touchdown. The Browns hope he’ll have more of those dreams in the days and weeks to come.
The game was also the debut of running back Kareem Hunt as a Brown, after an eight-game suspension. He rushed four times for 30 yards and caught 7-of-9 targets for 44 yards. He also blocked for Nick Chubb, helping on a 21-yard blast on the game-winning drive.
Here’s a look at John Kuntz’s and my favorite photos from the first home win of the year.

Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White is all over receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on a touchdown pass attempt in the first half. It was great defensive coverage by White.
